X-ELIUM Pre-Order Terms & Conditions
1. Pricing
1.1 Retail Price
The retail price of the X-ELIUM fork is €1,250 excl. VAT, excluding shipping costs.
This price includes:
- one X-ELIUM fork;
- one dedicated 32-hole hub for straight-pull spokes.
1.2 Launch Offer
To celebrate the launch of the X-ELIUM, an exclusive 30% pre-order discount is offered.
The pre-order price is therefore €875 excl. VAT, excluding shipping costs.
2. Pre-Order Period
2.1 Opening
Pre-orders are open from July 8, 2026 until December 31, 2026.
2.2 Limited Availability
This offer is limited to the first 100 confirmed pre-orders.
Pre-orders will automatically close once this limit has been reached, even if this occurs before December 31, 2026.
3. Reservation Deposit
3.1 Pre-Order Confirmation
Your pre-order is confirmed upon payment of a €250 excl. VAT deposit.
3.2 Project Cancellation
If production of the X-ELIUM has not started by December 31, 2026, all amounts paid (deposit or full payment) will be refunded in full.
3.3 Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, customers may cancel their pre-order within 14 calendar days of confirmation.
3.4 Cancellation Procedure
Withdrawal requests must be submitted before the end of the 14-day period to:
3.5 Deposit Refund Policy
Except:
- within the 14-day withdrawal period described above;
- or if production has not started before December 31, 2026;
the reservation deposit is non-refundable and will remain the property of Motion Engineering, unless the X-ELIUM is ultimately not delivered.
4. Balance Payment
4.1 Remaining Balance
When production begins (currently expected between October and December 2026), customers will be invited to pay the remaining balance:
€625 excl. VAT
(€875 − €250 deposit)
4.2 Final Order Confirmation
Your order will be fully confirmed once the remaining balance has been received.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery Schedule
The first X-ELIUM forks will be delivered within six (6) months after production begins.
5.2 Delivery Options
Shipping costs are not included in the pre-order price.
Customers may choose to:
- collect their X-ELIUM free of charge from Motion Engineering’s headquarters (Arnas, France);
- or request worldwide shipping, with shipping costs invoiced separately.
6. Options
6.1 29″ or 32″ Configuration
The X-ELIUM is compatible with both 29-inch and 32-inch wheels.
Wheel size only determines the shock configuration.
Your preferred configuration will be requested by email before production.
6.2 ERASE Carbon Wheelsets
Our partner ERASE offers premium carbon wheelsets specifically developed for the X-ELIUM.
Two versions will be available:
- Sapim straight-pull spokes;
- BERD textile spokes.
